Celebrating 26 years of Grupo International: from the living room to managing 32 multinationals and R$ 361 million in assets worldwide.
“There is a certain irony in my trajectory. The profession that, while still very young, I feared might imprison me in a routine ended up becoming precisely the instrument that allowed me to cross borders and connect Brazil to the largest markets on the planet.”
Today, celebrating 26 years of Grupo International, I work in international corporate and tax structuring, the implementation of foreign companies in Brazil, the legal representation of investors, and the establishment of corporate structures abroad.
But this story began long before holdings, multinationals, boards, international operations, or television cameras.
Before international business came the resilience of the counter
True leadership is not born in the comfort of the top, but in the ability to make difficult decisions when the scenario is uncertain.
Before leading global operations, I worked jobs that would hardly appear on a traditional executive resume: I was a hairdresser’s assistant, a bakery and supermarket clerk, a real estate receptionist, and a sales representative for computer courses.
I started early because I needed to build my own path. Each of these experiences taught me fundamental skills for any leader: listening, negotiating, solving complex problems, and understanding people.
Upon completing high school, I won a scholarship and made a conscious choice: I kept my technical foundation in accounting, but made a silent pact that I would never practice this profession in a conventional way.
If accounting seemed like it wouldn’t take me to the world, I would find a way to bring the world into my accounting.
The rise and the trial by fire: starting from scratch
My career gained momentum in the corporate market, and on October 4, 2000, I founded International Consulting to serve a compliance demand in the London aviation market. It was the first door to the international market.
Years later, I faced the most challenging moment of my life. Facing a high-risk pregnancy and a divorce, I lost my corporate position and, needing to outsource the business management, I watched the company go bankrupt.
With my newborn daughter Giovana in my arms and no capital, I turned my apartment’s living room into a makeshift office. I worked late into the night while she slept, and during the day, I approached Chambers of Foreign Commerce to specialize in what few mastered in Brazil: facilitating the entry of foreign capital and international tax engineering.
The game-changing positioning
The turning point came in strategic positioning. We stopped being a traditional office to become a multidisciplinary structure supporting business internationalization.
We began offering complete support: from corporate establishment and legal representation to regulatory, financial, and tax monitoring. Next, we took the reverse path: structuring the expansion of Brazilian entrepreneurs abroad with in-person service, maintaining the necessary proximity and governance in cross-border operations.

From corporate backstage to media spotlight
After two decades building behind-the-scenes solutions for large groups, my work gained a new dimension. I began sharing our strategic vision in articles for outlets such as Forbes and Revista Pontos de Vista in Portugal.
In 2025, this connection with communication culminated in my debut as host of the Roda de Negócios program on CARAS TV. Today, in its second season, the program is a C-level stage where I host authorities, executives, and investors to debate governance, operational efficiency, and the practical impacts of Tax Reform on the real economy.
The dimension of Grupo International today
Completing 26 years of history with this level of scale is the confirmation that limits exist only to be overcome:
● 32 multinationals under our direct administration and legal representation. ● More than R$ 361 million in equity and assets under management and representation.
● Structured operations in more than 29 international jurisdictions.
● Physical presence in Brazil (SP and RJ), Europe (Portugal), and the United States (Delaware).
The profession was never the limit
Your starting point does not determine your destination.
For me, freedom never meant just being able to travel: it meant being able to choose. Choosing to start over from scratch when the business collapsed; choosing how to raise my daughter; and choosing to redesign a traditional profession until it reached the dimension of my dreams.
